The Robert Schuman Institute of European Affairs at the University of Luxembourg (RSIEA), inaugurated in April 2016, focuses on the interdisciplinary study of European affairs and the European Union.
RSIEA’s objective is to encourage creative thinking – asking questions, collecting ideas and identifying issues, as well as developing proposals for further research and elaborating solutions to pressing to pressing societal problems.
Moreover, its members will rely on the expertise and competences of high-level experts for interdisciplinary and international synergies for such research and development. The RSIEA looks at issues like economic integration and its national and international dimensions, as well as constitutional and institutional evolution within the EU.
